The Fundamentals of Property Management Administration

This workshop is meant to prepare individuals interested in seeking an entry-level position as  a Property Manager.

Administration

Participants develop an understanding of risk management and the administrative obligations necessary to carry out daily operations as an administrator, including exploring strategies related to managing building owners, tenants, contractors & employees. This module also examines  subsidy review, which includes subsidy preparation, allocation & documentation.

Asset Management & Maintenance

Participants learn the principles of good building maintenance. Explore how to establish & manage quality proactive and preventative maintenance operation programs to preserve the asset and reduce the potential for loss

Legal Affairs & Requirements

Participants will receive an overview of the legal relationship between the landlord & tenant, exploring the rights and procedures that govern rental housing as it relates to enforcing by-laws, annual documentation submissions, audits and evictions
